How To Earn Your Program Certificate

To earn 2.0 NASBA CPE credits and the Tax Administration Risk Certificate™, participants must complete all program/course requirements and successfully pass a knowledge assessment with a minimum score of 75%. If a score below 75% is achieved, learners can retake the knowledge assessment 24 hours after the last attempt, and as many times as necessary before the course ending date or the enrollment period ends.

Featured Facilitator Karen Hardy, Ed.D

Karen Hardy, Ed.D., is a former U.S. Deputy Chief Risk Officer and current IBM Visiting Fellow. Dr. Hardy has more than 20 years of experience leading risk management practices in federal and regulated environments. She holds a Doctor of Education in Human Resource Development and Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. She is the author of 'Enterprise Risk Management: A Guide for Government Professionals' (John Wiley & Sons) and served as a contributing writer to the original ERM perspectives reflected in OMB Circular A-123 and OMB Circular A-11. Dr. Hardy implemented risk management frameworks at 39 agencies. Her risk strategies were cited by GAO as a best practice to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform of the House of Representatives.
